    January

Less than 25% of the unwanted pets coming into the Shelter in January were euthanized!!! Over 70% left alive!!!!

Thank you to everyone who has made this possible. Another first in shelter history!

Due to community support, adoptions, volunteer involvement, spaying and neutering education and a caring staff at our County Animal Control, we are seeing great improvements in the numbers of animals dying needlessly each month.

While January is normally one of the slower months, with persistent efforts and support we hope to see continuing improvement in 2007!
