Chrissy Sysun, she was adopted into a new family and she was telling her
new Dad how much she worries about all the homeless pets that go to new homes with nothing of their own, much like she would
have done if someone hadn’t made her a special pillow case that was hers. She has decided to make a basket for each
dog that gets adopted, so they have some things they may need of their very own.
The Future is Bright!
A new generation of caring and concerned animal lovers is coming along and will surely make a tremendous difference in the
lives of homeless pets . . . the Children!
During a recent Yard Sale in her community, Katie wanted to do something
for the shelter pets. Her "Coffee and Doughnut Stand" was a BIG SUCCESS and Katie proudly donated the proceeds to
the Paulding Animal Shelter.
Katie received "Thank You Kisses" from Sable, an injured Shepherd whose
broken leg was able to be repaired thanks to donations to Paulding Humane's Medical Fund.
"Baker"
dropped by the event to show his support for fellow abandoned pets. Baker was once homeless himself and helped by the caring
community.
"Penny" Visits Day Care
Volunteers Joanne and Charlie
and their rescued Gentle Giant, "Penny," visit local Day Care Centers to educate the children on proper pet care
and responsible pet ownership.
"Helpers"
Scouts, young volunteers
and other Youth Clubs are always willing to volunteer and raise funds for Shelter needs at on-site or off-site Events!

Arianna Kinard, age 10, attends McCleary Martial Arts where each student
picked a service project. Arianna picked the Paulding County Animal Control Shelter. She wrote letters to her
class, school and friends and collected much-appreciated donation items for the Shelter.
